Embracing Our Online Communication Platform

We hope this message finds you well. As part of our commitment to fostering a strong, connected community of Christian ministers, we want to ensure that you are aware of how we communicate within our organization. Our online platform is designed to be a central hub for all communication (networking, sharing resources, and supporting one another in discussions, prayer, and ministry.

We understand that technology can sometimes be daunting.  The Internet became a widely preferred source for information and communication since the year 2000, and now we are almost 25 years past that time.  People who do not know how to use email, support documentation, etc. by now, are probably not a good fit for membership with us.

After all, we live in a world where people can visit Dr. appointments, attend church services, major in college, pay their taxes, and purchase almost anything entirely online. This is without mention of the dominance of social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. which many of our members navigate daily.

As a side note, it is often humorous when a member complains about navigating our site, only to find that they are masters of playing games, and setting up groups on Facebook.  Did anyone from Facebook ever call them to learn how? No.  They read tutorials just like almost everywhere else.

Nevertheless, our online communication methods—through our intranet, email, and various state and special interest forums—are essential to the way we operate as a community. This approach allows us to provide timely updates, facilitate discussions, and maintain an organized and accessible environment for all members.

We want to encourage you to embrace our platform as it offers several advantages:

    1. Instant Access to Information: You can stay updated with the latest news, announcements, and events without waiting for mail or phone calls. Our intranet is designed to be a one-stop resource for all our members.
    2. Opportunity for Engagement: Being active in our forums and groups provides you with the opportunity to connect with other ministers, share your insights, and gain valuable perspectives from across the nation.
    3. Enhanced Networking: By participating in our online community, you’ll have the chance to form connections with other ministers beyond your immediate area, fostering a broader sense of fellowship.

We understand that some members may find navigation to be challenging, but we want to assure you that we are here to help. If you need assistance in navigating our platform, please don’t hesitate to use our FAQ. We are more than happy to provide guidance and support to help you feel more comfortable using our network.

While we appreciate the value of traditional methods of communication, the nature of our organization requires that we maintain a consistent and efficient means of connecting with our members. As such, we kindly ask that you utilize our online communication methods, as this will be the only way we can provide updates and engage with you effectively.

Thank you for your understanding and for being a valued member of our community. We believe that with your participation, we can continue to grow and strengthen our network of Christian ministers across the nation.
